MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM HEAVEN

This picture was taken January 1, 2010.

Here is a poem I found that I wanted to share with everyone. I am having trouble sleeping tonight. I keep thinking about Grandma and that I should be calling her to finalize plans for when we get up there this weekend. I can't wait to see Grandpa but I am struggling with Grandma not being there. I will quit rambling and share this poem with you. I think it is what she is saying to all of us.

I STILL HEAR THE SONGS,

I STILL SEE THE LIGHTS

I STILL FEEL YOUR LOVE ON COLD WINTERY NIGHTS

I STILL SHARE YOUR HOPES AND ALL OF YOUR CARES

I'LL EVEN REMIND YOU TO PLEASE SAY YOUR PRAYERS

I JUST WANT TO TELL YOU, YOU STILL MAKE ME PROUD

YOU STAND HEAD AND SHOULDERS ABOVE ALL THE CROWD

KEEP TRYING EACH MOMENT, TO STAY IN HIS GRACE

I CAME HERE BEFORE YOU TO HELP SET YOUR PLACE

YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE PERFECT ALL OF THE TIME

HE FORGIVES YOU THE SLIP, IF YOU CONTINUE THE CLIMB

TO MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS,

PLEASE BE THANKFUL TODAY

I'M STILL CLOSE BESIDE YOU,

IN A NEW SPECIAL WAY

I LOVE YOU ALL DEARLY,

NOW DON'T SHED A TEAR

CAUSE I'M SPENDING MY

CHRISTMAS WITH JESUS THIS YEAR

-John Wm. Mooney, Jr.

I have been thinking about Grandma being with Jesus this year. I can just hear her singing with the angels. We have all been truly blessed by being a part of this family. I am so thankful.

Family Update!

I was talking to my mom last night and told her I was going to call Grandpa or talk to him at Thanksgiving. She later told me she had already told Grandpa several weeks ago. HA! Go figure! :)

With that said...Grandpa may have already told several of you?!?

if not.....I thought I better go ahead and let the rest of you know...

Todd and I are excited to share that we are having another baby! I am 11 weeks 4 days and due on June 5th. God knew what He was doing because we couldn't have timed it any better. It will be right when Todd gets done with his school year and will be off for 5-6 weeks. Then until August he will have a very light and flexible schedule. I already know this is going to be a huge help to have him around for the first few months. I had a doctors appointment yesterday and got to see the baby and heartbeat. So everything is go well so far!

Also, we have decided that we aren't going to find out if it is a boy or girl this time around. We figured since we have one of each and we don't have a nursery since we are in temporary housing it would be a perfect time to do it. I know when we have our ultrasound it will be hard to not just have them tell us, but after we get past that we won't have a choice! ;) In all honesty I am so excited to find out when they are born. I think it will make the anticipation of delivering so much more exciting!

I know my pregnancy hormones have made this worse, but I have cried a few times because I have wanted to tell Grandma. She was always so excited and loved her great children so much. She always called and wanted to know how I was while pregnant. I miss that and hate that our 3rd won't be able to meet grandma. I am just thankful I have wonderful pictures of her with elias and adeline that I will always treasure.

We look forward to seeing several of you at Thanksgiving!

Wyatt's 18 month pictures

I did a quick little photo session with Wyatt for his 18 month pictures. Here are a few of my favorites. I can't believe how much he keeps constantly changing. The funniest thing he does now (well, it's not always funny) is to get into something he is not supposed to and he says "no...no..no..no" while he is doing it. Usually it's the toilet paper or the remote.

Wyatt update

I'm hoping I can squeeze in a quick update before Wyatt wakes up from his nap. Yes, most days he is still taking two naps although the morning one is touch and go. He is starting to talk so much in the last couple of weeks. He is learning his animals and the sounds he makes. His favorites are monkeys and owls. Just a couple of days ago, he started counting too! He has a duck book that has five ducks in it and when we go through the book I always count the ducks to him. Well, the other day he started saying "two" and "three". For some reason he won't say one but if you say one then he'll count two and three. I was pretty impressed. He started opening the drawers last night and counting them as he opened and closed them. We went to the zoo about a week ago and he really enjoyed it. The weather was perfect too. I just can't believe how fast he is changing now. It really is everyday that he is saying some new word now. We are also working a bit more hardcore on potty training. As of yesterday, most of the time he was telling me "potty" as he was peeing in his pants so that's a good sign. We've been letting him run around in a shirt and big boy undies. That way he can still feel it but it doesn't make as much of a mess on the floor...all we have is carpet in this house, ugh. Well, not much else here with us, mostly school and work. We did go to the annual Farm Aid concert last weekend while grandma watched Wyatt for us. We really enjoy the concert and their cause, saving the family farms/farmers. I will leave you with a few pics.

Someone generously donated this playhouse to us and as you can see, he loves it!

Wyatt's horse from Grandma Seraph

I had to post this video for you all to see. Grandma Seraph got this for Wyatt...maybe at Christmas, I can't really remember when it was. Well, he absolutely loves this horse. I just wish she could have seen him with it. It's really cute!

Ireland bound...

ar122618085158468

Toby, I and Wyatt leave Friday for Ireland! We are very excited (of course). We will be there for 9 days. We are flying in to Dublin but we will be mostly staying in Belfast. I'm sure most of you know but we are mainly going to meet my friend Karen. Her twin boys were born 10 days before Waylon and Jesse. We both lost them due to TTTS (twin to twin transfusion syndrome). It's been just about 3 years since we first met online. I know it will be a very emotional meeting at the airport. I credit her and Toby for the reason I'm here and happy today. She has gone on to have a baby girl who will turn 6 months old while we are there. Wyatt will celebrate his 13 month in Ireland-how cool! They are throwing him a belated 1 yr b-day party while we are there. I think it is just the most amazing thing that through such a tragedy I could find a life long friend. Still, to this day, we help each other. Every once in awhile something comes up and it's so great to know that she is there for me. You know me and pictures and I will have tons I'm sure, as well as video. So, when we get back and I get all the pics up, I will post the link to the photo album.

Wyatt...

Wyatt will be 1 this Saturday! It's crazy how time has flown by. We had his B-day party last weekend though so my brother and his family could attend. Here are a few pictures of him recently.

Toby, I and Wyatt went on a hike at the state park in our town

This is my favorite one!

Toby broke his finger the other day, hence the reason for the metal thing on it...he was putting sheets away in our heavy chest and the lid came down on his finger.

Back to college we go...

In case you haven't heard, Toby and I are going back to college. Toby is attending Ashford University's online program to get his B.A. in Environmental Studies. So far he likes it. I will start on Monday at the Art Institute of Pittsburg's online program to get my B.A. in interior Design and a diploma in Residential Planning. I would like to be done with school by the time Wyatt starts school (which shouldn't be a problem). I will go back to work full time once he starts school. I think Toby will be done in about a year and a half.

Wyatt is 9 months old...

I thought I would post a few pitures of Wyatt from the last month. I can't believe he turned 9 months old already! He is such a great boy and always a joy to be around. He is crawling all over the place now which I like because I don't have to carry him now. He happily follows me around the house and can get to his toys now which is very nice. He can say "mama" and "dada" and sometimes he will get out ball or dog. He's discovered clapping and it's funny sometimes the moments that he thinks are a good time to clap and also shake his head no...I can't wait til summer when we can get Parker, Adeline, Andrew and Wyatt together...they should be a lot of fun this summer!

Christmas

Here are a few pics from Christmas when we got together at Todd and and Trisha's.
