Happy 5th Birthday Ashlee Elizabeth!!!

It's so hard to believe my baby girl is 5. It seems like only yesterday we were in the hospital right now with our new baby. Time goes by so fast. To everyone with babies please cherish every moment because you blink and they are so big. I know I am being emotional. So my family gets to be a part of my craziness. I know there are alot of picutres. I thank God every day that he chose me to be Ashlee, Marshall, and Caroline's Mommy. They are such a blessing.

Here is Ashlee just a few minutes old. I can't believe it's been 5 years.

Here's the Birthday girl with her first American Girl doll. Her name is Mia and she has the same color of hair as Ashlee. We have to change her clothes all of the time. We had to get her some p.j.'s because she sleeps with Ashlee. I remember playing with dolls like this. It is so much fun watching Ashlee.
Ashlee put her Jasmine costume on for her party but changed soonafter her friends arrived.
We had a sleepover last night. 4 girls spent the night. It was so much fun. They were so cute. This was our first sleepover. All of these girls have been friends since they were babies. They all go to our church. The blonde girl on the 2nd row was born 2 days after Ashlee and we were in the same hospital. We have a picture of the daddies holding their baby girls.

This was breakfst this morning. Poor Marshall he was surrounded by girls. He got to sleep with Daddy last night.

Easter

This is Easter Sunday after Church. The kids are holding the Birthday presents they got me.
We went to Johnson City Thursday-Saturday to celebrate Ashlee's Birthday, my Birthday, and Easter with all the grandparents. Mom had an Easter egg hunt for the kids on Friday because it was such a beautiful day. Keet I will have to say I am glad we did not have 10 inches of snow.

I made the kids pose for the annual Easter picture. I'm sure they wonder why I dress them up and do this. One day they will understand. We couldn't take pictures outside because it was too cold.
Look at Caroline's face. It is so pitiful. She was wanting to sit on her tricycle. She is such a sweetie.

Bella Lynn Thompsen

Bella was born on Saturday, March 22, 2008 at 7:48 am. She is absolutely perfect and looks almost exactly like Maya. Maya loves being a big sister.

Baby Pictures

I thought I would post this on behalf of Ashlee and Matt. Their baby girl arrived this morning at 7:49. I don't know much more details than that. When I talked to her they didn't know her weight or height yet.

If you want snow...

It does snow in TN!!

Caroline was so bundled up she could barely move.

You can see by the pictures the deck had more snow then the yard.
Our hill is so steep the sled took off with Ashlee and Marshall and almost hit the fence. Then Tom tried pulling Caroline down. She liked it and wanted to do it again.

I thought you might enjoy these pictures of the little bit of snow we had. This was on March 8. I know most of you wouldn't even bother going out in such a small amount, but we have to take what we get. The kids had fun. I keep hoping one day we will get one big snow for them to build a snowman and really get to play in it.

Elias had a few handfulls of cake. he didn't get too messy though.

I think he was done in this picture! :) I decided to make the cake and it was my first experience with a decorative cake. I had some help from a friend who was a professional and it was fun learning. I made a 3-D Train cake. It turned out better then I could have imagined.

Grandpa and Mimi with the birthday boy. Grandpa couldn't believe he was 1 in this picture! ;) Keet, Hillary and Cole surprised us and walked in the door at his party when we weren't expectinng them. It was such a wonderful surprise!! Thanks for coming!!!! :)

Here is a link to my flickr page. We went to Mary Ann & Randy's this last weekend to celebrate Josie's b-day as well as the boys. There are lots of pics of Josie on there and a lantern that we sent up in the air for the boys. My friend Karen from Ireland (she lost her twin boys 10 days before I lost Jesse & Waylon) sent us the lanterns. We had a great trip and g-ma and g-pa Redden even made it.

Josie's First Birthday

Josie's party was on the second, but dad managed to delete windows. Tyler set up our computer, so here are your party pictures!

She had fun and got lots of stuff, but much to my dismay, she didn't get very messy while eating her cake. She was very dainty and prefered to feed me and grandpa.

our nephew

Maya's 2nd Birthday

Maya had a great birthday. She celebrated at daycare and then at Chuck E. Cheese. Her big gift was a swing set that Matt spent days building. She loves it!
We are all getting excited about the baby. My due date is March 25th.
