My new business

I thought I would share with everyone my new business...Melaleuca. On my facebook page and blog I call my business, The Green Nest. Please check out my fb page and "like" it if you want, www.facebook.com/TheGreenNest. I have been having a LOT of fun with this over the last 2 1/2 months. This business fit right in with the lifestyle Toby and I are trying to live. Melaleuca offers household products that you use everyday (toothpaste, vitamins, laundry detergent, lotion, cosmetics, soap and so much more) without toxic chemicals. Our products are great for anyone who is sensitive to regular soaps, detergents, etc.. The best part is that they are affordable!

It has been a lot of fun meeting new people and learning all about our company. One of my co-workers has been doing this for 11 months and she just got her company paid orange Camaro last weekend! I hope to be following in her footsteps-well, I would probably choose a different car, lol. After 2 months and 1 week, I made Director which is my first official promotion within the company. They award you with a bonus for each level you achieve.

If any of you are interested in hearing more about our products or business, contact me. There is no obligation. I tell you more about our company and products and then you decide for yourself. I love referrals too so if you know of anyone that would be interested, send them my way. Thanks! I greatly appreciate it!!

Ohio River House

Exciting news! Mom talked to Judy at the Ohio River House and they have said we can come this summer but some people may have to sleep in tents. Send Lisa an email if you will be able to come. We are not sure of dates right now. Let Lisa know what dates are best.

Getting Together

Margie and I were talking tonight and we thought we would try to plan something for this summer when our family will be in Indiana. We were thinking of getting together with whoever could on Saturday, July 2 for a picnic get together like the one we had a couple of years ago. She is going to see if Southeastway Park has a shelter open and reserve it. Of course, we don't know how this will work for other families, but we thought we would go ahead and plan something for those who could come. Hope to see some of you then!

Another Baby!

Just wanted to let everyone know that we will be welcoming another Baby into the family at the beginning of October! We are excited, and Cole keeps saying that God is going to give us a little girl and that he wants a sister. We haven't even coached him into saying it, so that has been funny to hear. I am feeling OK, although I have quite a bit of nausea, but that means my body is doing what it is supposed to do. I am a little over 8 weeks right now.

I'm sure all of you have heard about Keet's hand. He had surgery last Tuesday to fix two metacarpals that were broken while he played basketball with some kids church. It is definitely improving, but very bruised, a little swollen and still painful at times. He is dealing with it well though and there have been some pretty funny moments, especially right before the surgery when he was fairly loopy. Wish I had taped it, but I am sure he is thankful I didn't. :)

Hope everyone is doing well!

MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM HEAVEN

This picture was taken January 1, 2010.

Here is a poem I found that I wanted to share with everyone. I am having trouble sleeping tonight. I keep thinking about Grandma and that I should be calling her to finalize plans for when we get up there this weekend. I can't wait to see Grandpa but I am struggling with Grandma not being there. I will quit rambling and share this poem with you. I think it is what she is saying to all of us.

I STILL HEAR THE SONGS,

I STILL SEE THE LIGHTS

I STILL FEEL YOUR LOVE ON COLD WINTERY NIGHTS

I STILL SHARE YOUR HOPES AND ALL OF YOUR CARES

I'LL EVEN REMIND YOU TO PLEASE SAY YOUR PRAYERS

I JUST WANT TO TELL YOU, YOU STILL MAKE ME PROUD

YOU STAND HEAD AND SHOULDERS ABOVE ALL THE CROWD

KEEP TRYING EACH MOMENT, TO STAY IN HIS GRACE

I CAME HERE BEFORE YOU TO HELP SET YOUR PLACE

YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE PERFECT ALL OF THE TIME

HE FORGIVES YOU THE SLIP, IF YOU CONTINUE THE CLIMB

TO MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS,

PLEASE BE THANKFUL TODAY

I'M STILL CLOSE BESIDE YOU,

IN A NEW SPECIAL WAY

I LOVE YOU ALL DEARLY,

NOW DON'T SHED A TEAR

CAUSE I'M SPENDING MY

CHRISTMAS WITH JESUS THIS YEAR

-John Wm. Mooney, Jr.

I have been thinking about Grandma being with Jesus this year. I can just hear her singing with the angels. We have all been truly blessed by being a part of this family. I am so thankful.

Family Update!

I was talking to my mom last night and told her I was going to call Grandpa or talk to him at Thanksgiving. She later told me she had already told Grandpa several weeks ago. HA! Go figure! :)

With that said...Grandpa may have already told several of you?!?

if not.....I thought I better go ahead and let the rest of you know...

Todd and I are excited to share that we are having another baby! I am 11 weeks 4 days and due on June 5th. God knew what He was doing because we couldn't have timed it any better. It will be right when Todd gets done with his school year and will be off for 5-6 weeks. Then until August he will have a very light and flexible schedule. I already know this is going to be a huge help to have him around for the first few months. I had a doctors appointment yesterday and got to see the baby and heartbeat. So everything is go well so far!

Also, we have decided that we aren't going to find out if it is a boy or girl this time around. We figured since we have one of each and we don't have a nursery since we are in temporary housing it would be a perfect time to do it. I know when we have our ultrasound it will be hard to not just have them tell us, but after we get past that we won't have a choice! ;) In all honesty I am so excited to find out when they are born. I think it will make the anticipation of delivering so much more exciting!

I know my pregnancy hormones have made this worse, but I have cried a few times because I have wanted to tell Grandma. She was always so excited and loved her great children so much. She always called and wanted to know how I was while pregnant. I miss that and hate that our 3rd won't be able to meet grandma. I am just thankful I have wonderful pictures of her with elias and adeline that I will always treasure.

We look forward to seeing several of you at Thanksgiving!
