Bella is Home

Thank you so much for all of your prayers! The doctors in DC scared us to death saying Bella had signs of brain damage, and listing horrible disorders they were testing for. They sent us home saying the least frightening possibility is what she has. They said that Bella has myoclonus, which are benign seizures that she will grow out of. She also has reflux which is what caused her to stop breathing. We are so relieved to know that these things she will grow out of and not have any long term problems as a result. We will be going to Annapolis to see specialists and she will remain on the apnea monitor. Thank you again for all of your prayers and support through this scary time.

Cousins Cole and Elias

This past weekend Todd, Trisha and Elias came to visit us in Wisconsin. We had a great time together. It was the longest we have been with them in a very long time and it was so nice. The boys interacted with one another throughout the weekend. We all think about the time though when they will be excited to see their cousin and actually know what is happening. Here are a few pictures. Enjoy! Hillary

Bella update

They will be keeping Bella in the hospital for at least 5 days. They did a ct already and will be doing a 2 day eeg on her. Other than that she is doing fine at the moment.

Kendra

Please keep Bella in your thoughts and prayers

I just thought I would let everyone know in case you hadn't heard.

Bella went to the hospital a few days ago. She had a seizure while Mary Ann was holding her. After running several tests they were diagnosing it with a near sids incident. She was sent home yesterday with a monitor that she would have to wear for 6-9 months. It monitors her heart and lungs and alarms if she stops breathing for 20 sec. I'm not sure when but sometime last night the monitor went off again and she was rushed to the hospital. They have transferred her to Washington D.C. hospital. I don't have much more information than that right now but please be thinking of her. We'll update when we hear more.

Love,
Kendra and Toby
